On 14 October, the SOMMER project consortium held its 24-month project meeting. It met online to provide updates on the status of various tasks. The participants from research and industry presented their progress and discussed any development challenges.
The consortium collaborates closely to achieve the project’s goal of developing a sustainable technology that converts CO2 and water into synthesis gas, a key raw material for many chemical products.
Key updates included:
- Membrane development for lab validation
- Simulation of membrane reactor
- Membrane reactor design
Over the past months, the SOMMER project has advanced considerably in developing membrane technologies for sustainable syngas production. This meeting provided an opportunity not only to review the progress made but also to coordinate the promising next phases of the project.
The consortium appreciates the close collaboration and valuable exchange throughout the project, and together we look forward with enthusiasm to the upcoming milestones ahead.
